Building Intentional Connections

March 24, 2016 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am PDT

Free

Having a strong network of relationships helps women increase their ability to reach out, influence, understand what may be going on behind the scenes, find sounding boards for ideas, and get help in situations when the existing processes may not help them get things done. Women with a strong network are more likely to ask for help in closing a business deal, and landing a job or being conducted in concert with decisions to offer someone a new position or promotion.

It is clear that having a strong network is a critical element to career success, job satisfaction, and retention. Yet, we know that women do not spend the same amount of time nor build the same type of network as men, and this impacts their ability to be successful in their roles, feel connected to the organization, and to achieve career growth.

This program explores the importance of networks and gives each participant an opportunity to look at their network at a high level, evaluate it, and begin developing a plan to enhance it. The goal is to increase participants’ ability to reach out, influence, and build their network in an intentional way to achieve career goals.
