Ana Hays is the director of marketing and communications at Hospice of the Valley in San Jose, California. Previously she worked in academia leading executive education programs and fund development events at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as the Associate Director of Conferences and Special Events and at Stanford Law School as the Director of Executive Education.

As an Amherst Writers & Artists Affiliate she leads creative writing workshops in Menlo Park, California; at WomenCare a non-profit organization in Santa Cruz dedicated to offering a safe haven for women who are making the cancer journey; and for SPARK where she inspires students to follow their dreams of becoming a published writer.
