About the topic: Over the last few decades, technology has dramatically impacted on our daily lives. We spend our nights and weekends with one eye on the laptop, one-eye on the kids, but never quite totally focused on either. In a 24/7 world, we are constantly going and going, but feel as if we never arrive. In this entertaining and experiential talk, Denise Roy will share ways to practice “mindfulness in motion” – teaching us skills that we can do to shift our attention, become more present to ourselves and our families, and reduce stress in our busy lives. Even with our BlackBerrys!
