Ms. Colton is a devoted advocate for and philanthropist to both women’s causes and San Francisco political campaigns. A campaign consultant for more than twenty years, Ms. Colton directed her own political and public affairs consulting firm. In this capacity, she has worked with many of the leading museums in San Francisco, including the deYoung Museum and the Academy of Sciences. She is working to make the International Museum of Women is a world-class cultural and educational institution for San Francisco. It will be the only international museum exclusively dedicated to chronicling and honoring the lives of women worldwide.
