Judge LaDoris Cordell, a former Superior Court Judge in Santa Clara County and advocate for improving transparency into charges of police misconduct, will share relevant ideas for reform of our justice system.

Judge La Doris Hazzard Cordell is the author of a Her Honor: My Life on the Bench… What Works, What’s Broken, and How to Change It. A graduate of Stanford Law School and former Vice Provost at Stanford University, she is also a police reform advocate and legal commentator. “Judge LaDoris embodies the meaning of judicial independence”, according to K. Sullivan, former Dean of Stanford Law School.

In her other life, Judge Cordell is an artist and pianist; she resides in Palo Alto with her partner and two daughters.
