Since I’ve not always had the best experiences in a book club, I thought I would design one that I would want to participate in. I could read the book I wanted. Everyone talking would have read the book they have an opinion about, and I’d get some great recommendations in a variety of book genres and authors.

Each participant would share with the group about a book they recently read. Any book. Depending on the number of participants, each person would have between roughly 10 minutes to share their book.

Guidelines

1. Each participant shares a book they recently read and enjoyed
2. Any genre, any author
3. The reader should consider and share several key points:
• Title, Author, Genre
• A brief description of the plot, subject, setting, and more
• Why did you enjoy it?
• Several reasons you would recommend it. Interesting things you learned
• How did the book impact you?
