Van Ton-Quinlivan
September 22, 2005 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am PDT
Our speaker, Van Ton-Quinlivan will speak on the future of higher education in the state of California. She will overview the Master Plan that designed the University of California (UC), California State University (CSU) and community college systems and discuss some major trends that will leave 1.8 million students over the next 10 years unable to access a college education. Van will share some NOT-business-as-usual approaches being considered for tackling the policy implications of those trends and would like to engage TMD members on key legs of those strategies.
