Vinita was raised in a traditional environment in India. She addressed the cultural chasms that immigrant women face when they join our society, as well as the specific cultural biases confronting women in India. She works with Lisa Chapman at the law firm The Silicon Valley Law Group. Vinita told us the story of her sex-segregated childhood in India, her arranged marriage to and consequent divorce from an Indian man in the US, and her thoughts on cultural differences between Indian and American societies.
